Death Academy (Deep Studies Group)

• Six questions and themes to contemplate with activities to engage in
• Six live 1.5 hour classes to discuss our studies, thoughts, feelings and experiences
• Estimated time- Three hours per week total for solo studies, drop in classes and live classes
• We alternate weeks for self-study and live classes (Theme changes every other week)
• Weekly drop-in option for those who wish to collaborate/chat between live calls
• Snail-mailed gift & ceremonial tools sent to each student

Anne-Marie will host the live calls. For the drop-in sessions Anne-Marie may assign a host but the forum will be open. The course will run February through April. We will give the exact time and day of the week after doing a poll for those that wish to attend.

DEATH ACADEMY VDC Deep Studies Group is for graduates of the Village Deathcare Citizen Course. However, graduates can invite one guest to accompany them and join the group. Their guest will need to apply with a simple email that explains their experience and/or interest. This is a great opportunity to continue death ed, hone your doula skills and become better versed in the deathcare world. The studies never end!

Death Academy & Apprenticeship This option is for those who wish to both study and work with in-person and/or online clients, staff in-person retreats and/or host online gatherings and trainings. This is a great option for those who wish to gain experience and/or craft their own company/business.
